Mindful Counselling

Helping you feel whole again

Facing our challenges in life is not easy and you have already taking a very brave step by beginning to seek help. We can believe that talking about our suffering might make it worse or that it is too frightening to face. Sharing our experience allows some movement and freedom. We will gently build trust and connection and I will hold you firmly through this journey of discovery and reconnection through a combination of talking, sensing and working with the body through mindfulness based therapeutic counselling which can help you feel whole again.

About Me

Donna Person

I am a qualified integrative counsellor and experienced mindfulness teacher based in Clifton, Bristol.

I can offer you a warm, open and peaceful space to gently explore the places in your life that feel disconnected. Exploring the impact of your suffering on your emotional, mental and physical health and wellbeing in an embodied way supports a reconnection and ability to hear the wisdom of your body which brings about the healing and freedom you desire.

I have worked with individuals and groups supporting a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, OCD, PTSD, enduring physical conditions, Cancer, Post-Natal Depression, self harm, attachment disorder, dissociative disorders and domestic abuse.  Of course these are all labels which may, or may not be helpful to you.

Together we start from the stance that your experience in all its uniqueness is the point of exploration not the label. The present moment experience gives us all we need to begin feeling whole again.
